Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog! Jarett and I are excited to be able to keep everyone updated this way. Our posts will be a lot more exciting in a couple of months when we have a cute little baby to show off, but I'll just have to show off my cute little husband until then.

Well, I guess I'll give ya'll a quick run-down on what
we've been up to lately. We spent the summer in Jerome, Idaho (Jarett's hometown), where I completed part of my 7-month dietetic internship. Then about 2 months ago we moved down to St. George, where we plan on settling permanantly.
I only have a couple of months left in my internship, and I plan on finishing up near the end of December. And it's a good thing, because I'm becoming very heavy laden with child. If this little guy decides to come early I'm in big trouble! (Just in case you haven't heard yet, we're having a boy and he's due January 16). Although I'm very anxious to be finished with my internship, it has been nice to have something to keep me busy and to make the pregnancy go by a bit quicker.

Jarett has been keeping very busy as well. He's currently working for a company called KP Medical, where he transports medical patients and supplies all around town. It's been a great way for him to become familiar with St. George (he now knows his way around better than I do, and I lived here for over 10 years!), and he's really enjoyed his time there. But that time will soon be coming to an end because he's going to be taking over our future business, Laser Mania, in January.

For those of you who don't know, Laser Mania is a family entertainment center which has laser tag, glow in the dark miniature golf, a large arcade, an X-box room, and Jarett is working on adding a laser maze room as we speak. My parents own the business and Jarett and I will be slowly buying it from them over the next few years. Jarett has a lot of wonderful ideas for how to make the business better (he majored in Business Management), and he's very anxious to get in there and start making the changes.

Jarett has also been doing a lot of photography lately. It started out as a hobby, but word has leaked out around town and he's already had 3 paying jobs, and about 5 charity shoots for family. The picture of me to the right and the ones of the babies below are samples of his work. Pretty darn good eh? That's my talented husband!

These pictures are ones Jarett took recently of my neice, Allison. She's Joy and Ryan Wiest's little girl, and is about 9 1/2 months old. Isn't she a doll?!

The next three pictures are of my second niece, Myah--Kayla and Ryan Gubler's adorable little girl. She is almost 2 months old, and is just as cute as can be!

So things are going very well for us, and we've been extremely blessed. We love and miss everyone who is far away, and think about all of you often. We hope everyone is happy and healthy, and we always love to hear from you! We also love seeing you, so feel free to come to St. George any time! We'll give you housing, food, and even free passes to Laser Mania!
